So, you guys know my review of “Covenant”, AKA “Rape-Rape, the Rapening”?
Yeah, John Everson found it. As in, the author.
On the one hand, he calls me a “poor, venomous woman”. On the other hand, he said it had him laughing out loud and “the most enjoyable thing [he’s] read all year.”
Guess I’d better get the conclusion out!

This is, hands down, angriest review I have ever done, of one of the worst, most idiotic, poorly written, misogynist excuses for a horror novel I have ever had the displeasure of reading. This fucking thing won the STOKER, people, and reviewers are lauding it everywhere. Well, I'm not. I'm so fucking enraged about its mere existence, let alone publication, that I'm doing a multi-part review at Nerds Raging about just how vile it is. Part II will be coming soon.

So we’re finally watching “Hannibal”.
Those of you already in the fandom may know that the writer and many of the cast are pulled from the short-lived but utterly masterful series “Wonderfalls”, one of our absolute favourite TV shows of all fucking time. There are even a number of meta jokes in which some of the characters from “Wonderfalls” resurface in “Hannibal”.
So now I cannot help envisioning “Hannibal” as some weird alternate universe version of “Wonderfalls” in which Jaye Tyler’s family was slaughtered horribly by some serial killer, and she changed her name to escape publicity and joined the FBI to avenge her family’s death.
I may need help.
